Koko Alaisa

 Koko Alaisa

Last Friday, Room 12 and 13 had a taste of Koko Alaisa and panikeke. We all had a little talk about the meaning and taste. We also had some predictions on what it looks like or tastes like. Last year the year 6’s had panikeke on samoan language week, so some already know what it would taste like. After talking we all lined up waiting for the Koko alaisa (Coca rice) . I could also smell the cocoa from my table. We each grabbed a spoon and cup of Koko alaisa then went back to our seats. It smelled very good! I took a bite of it. It tasted so good. At the same time when I was taking a bite my lips stuck to the spoon, I couldn’t really just slip the spoon through my lips. After having it, She let us go for another round so I went and got more. The taste of it was just so nice I couldn't even describe it. After that VERY yum cup of Koko Alaisa I threw it in the bin and sat back down. I really enjoyed it and hope we have it again some other time.

  1. Kia ora Armahny,

I really enjoyed reading your recount of eating Koko Alaisa! You added detailed and told them how you felt about it. I wonder if you can use a thesaurus to help you with exciting words.

Looking forward to future blog posts,
    Miss Laxa
